Prof. Dr. Eija Hiltunen-Back

Eija Hiltunen-Back is a specialist in dermato-venerology and has worked as consultant of the STI clinic in the Department of dermatovenereology in Helsinki University Hospital, Finland since 1997. She has also act as a reseacher in the National Institute for Health and Welfare. She received her PhD degree in 2002 and is an adjunct professor of venereology in the University of Helsinki. The main research interest has been epidemiology of STIs and genital dermatology. She is the president of the Finnish Society against STIs, has been the national representative of Finland in the Council of IUSTI Europe since 2004 and the secretary general since 2018.
